“ This was literally the best cheese steak I've ever had in my life. First, let me just say that I'm from Southern California so I'm surrounded by a fair share of delicious food. I've never had a cheese steak this good and out of all the things I ate during my visit, I still dream about their sandwich. The amount of food, not to mention how fresh and perfectly seasoned the meat is (not just salty): PERFECTION. Don't even get me started on the fries!  Too good! The people who work there are also SO fun and the sweetest so I would go back just for them!!! Such a great experience and a neat find. ”

“ Absolutely amazing cheese steaks, the owner was so incredibly friendly and helpful you can tell he cares about the food and the customer. The fries and also fantastic. I don't usually like fries but these were definitely delicious. It came with an in house fry sauce as well that was genuinely one of my favorites. The owner said he made his own because he didn't seem to like others around here and you can tell that it is it's own thing, but not completely off and different from a classic fry sauce. Absolutely loved it and plan on going back. ”

“ Incredible owner, great Philly cheesesteaks all packed into a food truck. Although these aren’t fully traditional and don’t have the same flavors The Meat’s take on Philly cheesesteaks shows how people who love food can make some great stuff without following a recipe. A friend and I got the classics and then shared a loaded fry (was a bit too much but he was happy to bring it home). When in the mood for a good sandwich and friendly service, this is the place to go. No tables or places to sit when we went but they mentioned when it warms up a bit they’ll have some options. ”

“ The best cheese steak I've had in Provo, though not the best I've had in Utah. The servers were nice and super friendly. If they run out of food on any given day they generally post it on their Instagram, so if you're going near closing time it might be good to check that before going. Edit: In response to the owner's reply, Yes I was actually thinking of Vito's when I mentioned the best in Utah! Vito's a bit of a drive though, so The Meat is a great option! ”
